Illustration Friday topic – blues.
This sketch was completed while trying a new illustration technique. I used a Wacom tablet & Flash’s pressure sensitive brush tool. Just playing around & trying to shake the rust off!
Nothing takes up your time more than loosing your job! Getting all your ducks in a row, making sure your files are backed up, trying to get paid that last check & more. Well, at least that’s how it goes when the company you were working for goes out of business. Probably different if you got fired.
Art will come.

Bikes, bands, burritos & beer in Baltimore. This is an illustration done for Urban Velo Magazine about a recent event in Baltimore. Check it yo!
Happy July 4th everyone. Keep it between the lines.
Hey, no new illustrations right now, maybe in a couple days, but in the mean time here is a great clip from Zakk Wylde, lead guitar for Ozzy & his solo band BLS. I love when people don’t take themselves too seriously.
My day job is doing corporate PowerPoint show graphics & programming. This is definitely something those people should watch.

Happy may. This is a good time for cyclists out there. No more cold weather gear. No more indoor trainer. And a new magazine to enjoy!
My friend Jeff just co-started a new mag and online mag:

Check it out.

Go old skool. Bike. Dirt. Sweat. That’s one reason so many of us are going with single speeds.
Keep it simple stupid!

This is an illustration of Lance Armstrong vs. Floyd Landis that was just used in Dirt Rag. The hardest thing about this illustration was making the faces recognizable. Also, I found myself wavering as to who’s side I was on.
